Operations Manager

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING


Operational Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute operational strategies and plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with the executive team to define and implement operational processes, policies, and standards.

  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify operational improvements and innovation opportunities.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.


Resource Management:

  • Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget.

  • Work closely with department heads to forecast resource needs, ensure optimal resource allocation, and avoid bottlenecks.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among different teams, including engineering, product management, marketing, and customer support.

  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure seamless integration of operational processes across the organization.

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and initiatives to drive alignment and resolve operational issues.

  • Serve as a liaison between teams, ensuring clear communication of goals, timelines, and deliverables.


Process Improvement and Optimization:

  • Identify areas for process improvement and develop streamlined workflows to increase productivity and reduce operational bottlenecks.

  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas of improvement.

  • Analyze operational data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.


Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements.

  • Implement robust security measures and protocols to protect company assets, data, and intellectual property.

  • Continuously assess and enhance disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an Operations Manager, preferably in a tech startup environment.

  • Strong knowledge of the tech startup ecosystem, including software development processes and emerging technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.

  • Proficiency in using operational tools and software, such as project management software, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms.

  • Proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
