SDE-III : Lead Backend Engineer-NodeJs
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Build robust, secure, and scalable microservices to power the core platform.
Design and implement low-latency distributed systems and storage solutions.
Own and manage all phases of the software development lifecycle (planning, design, implementation, deployment, and support).
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders on projects.
Communicate technical ideas and set direction on projects, focusing on solving business challenges.
Work closely with the leadership team to drive the product roadmap.
Work as an individual contributor or a team player, as and when required.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A solid grounding in computer science fundamentals and 4+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Javascript (ES6).
Experience working on frameworks like Node.js, Express.js, etc.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, message queues, asynchronous systems, and design patterns.
Good understanding of microservices, SOA principles and surrounding technologies (such as Kubernetes and Docker).
Strong understanding of engineering software processes, life-cycle methodology, configuration management, release management, and system verification and testing.
Good to have proficiency in CI/CD (Continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines)
Good understanding of asynchronous processing model - message queues, worker processes etc.
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment is a must. Open-source contribution is a plus.
